Falcons president and CEO Rich McKay strongly reiterated the organization’s plan, announced last month, to open Mercedes-Benz Stadium in late August.

Last week, the Los Angeles Rams announced that the opening of their new shared stadium with the Chargers in Inglewood, Calif., would be pushed back one year to 2020 because of all the rain Southern California has received over the past few months.

The Seattle Seahawks’ home stadium will continue to be called CenturyLink Field at least through 2033. The stadium was renamed CenturyLink in 2011. The Seahawks announced Monday that the team, CenturyLink, Inc. and First & Goal Inc. reached a new deal on stadium-naming rights. It will run from the 2019 through 2033 NFL season.
