On the first day of its latest incarnation, the Miami Dolphins’ stadium was a smash hit as Hard Rock Stadium. That was assured as several current and former players, including Pro Bowl wide receiver Jarvis Landry and Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Marino, joined with local business and government dignitaries Wednesday in a ceremonial smashing of more than two dozen guitars to christen the renovated and renamed venue. Landry, who plays guitar, said he has never broken one but made an exception because, “It was for a good cause.”
